You are invited.
Sunday mornings 10:00-11:30AM at the Friendly House Community Center, main entrance on the SW corner of NW 26th and Thurman.

Our weekly meetings are our primary contact point for members and visitors.  They feature presentations on a diversity of topics of interest to HGP’s members, ranging from poetry to international politics, from the exploration of outer space to the inner workings of the local community.

Broad areas include Human Well-being; Science/Reason; Secularism; and Humanities, Culture and Morality. Speakers are drawn from area universities, cultural institutions, activist organizations, and in many cases, from our own membership.  Several meetings each year are reserved for small group discussions or other activities.

For younger attendees, we run a Children’s Program in the same building concurrent with our main program.  We also often hold a concurrent discussion group in the building on a timely topic.  “Early Bird” discussions can also often be found before the main program.
