Tabor, but Portland has a long history of coddling eccentrics, including the telekinetic wife of a wealthy Congressman. Come learn about a few of the major players from a century ago. Heather Arndt Anderson is a Portland-based culinary historian and food writer. She is the author of Breakfast: A History (2013) and the forthcoming Portland: A Food Biography (2014).
