Scholarship Contest

Humanists of Greater Portland is going to award a$1,000 scholarship to a local humanist high school senior to use toward his/hercollege expenses! Please let qualifying young people know about thisopportunity! The competition is open to all college-bound public high school seniors inthe greater Portland area. Students may enter the contest by writing an originalessay entitled: "Why I am a Secular Humanist."  Full details are on the application, which is posted on this website. Deadline for essay submission is April 30, 2012.
