Listeria Infections and Foods

Presentation by Dr. Jovana Kovacevic. Listeria monocytogenes  is one of the leading causes of mortality among foodborne pathogens in the United States. This presentation introduces Listeria and some of the challenges it poses to our food system and at-risk populations. Jovana Kovacevic is an Associate Professor and Food Safety Extension Specialist at the Oregon State University’s Food Innovation Center  in Portland.
