Suzanne Thornton organizes an event in which three HGP members share meaningful stories of significant events in their lives. Today we hear from Dave Gray, Margie Adams, and Jules Elias.
Part Two of an election post-mortem by Jeff Seward. Here Seward looks ahead at the future implications of the 2016 Elections: Will the new President be successful? Will these elections lead to significant reform of U.S. elections or campaign finance? Will the U.S. political system continue to be paralyzed by partisan division? Seward, an associate professor in the Department of Politics and Government at Pacific University, has been a popular speaker at HGP. He teaches comparative politics, political philosophy, political economy, and courses on Latin America. Prior to his academic career, he was a reporter and documentary film producer.
