Hidden Love Life of Birds

Dr. Sara Kaiser explores the diversity of mating systems in birds from the faithful to the cheaters. She shares stories from the field about how ornithologists piece together the love lives of secretive forest birds and on how the environment influences individual mating decisions. Dr. Kaiser is a Research Ecologist at the Cornell Lab of Ornithology. Her training includes a Ph.D. from Cornell University in behavioral ecology.
