Importance of Unions

Presentation by Martin Hart-Landsberg highlighting the importance of unions, the policies responsible for the decline in union membership; the consequences for working people, and signs of the rebirth of an activist labor movement. Hart-Landsberg is Professor Emeritus of Economics at Lewis & Clark College, Portland, Oregon. His areas of teaching and research include political economy, economic development, international economics, and the political economy of East Asia.
