Managing the National Parks

Presentation by Robert Pahre. Most people think of the 63 National Parks as large wilderness areas. While reviewing the policy issues that the “Crown Jewel” parks face, Pahre suggests that the more famous parks can learn from the parks in the Midwest. Pahre is a professor of Political Science at the University of Illinois. His research focuses on the political issues of U.S. National Parks.
