This is a presentation by Del Allen about preparing for expected and unexpected end of life, accidents, fire, wills and trusts etc. Over many years, Del has been collecting information from many organizations/sources regarding end of life preparations. He recently started organizing this accumulation so I can get some use out of it and at the same time hopefully get my affairs in order. He presents a list of questions one can ask oneself and/or a professional plus some suggestions and a few facts from various resources.

He is chairman emeritus of Near East and North Africa Area Studies at the State Department’s Foreign Service Institute. Currently he is the Director of the Middle East Studies Center at Portland State University.

Dr. Charlene Montierth

This is a presentation about earthquakes by Dr. Charlene Montierth. Charlene is a professor and head of the Geology Department at Clark College. In 2001, she earned a Ph.D. in geology from the University of Oregon, where she did research on Hawaiian volcanoes. In 2003, she received the college’s Exceptional Faculty Award for her energy and commitment to student success.
